Noise Reduction

Our secondary glazing is a highly effective solution for reducing noise. It creates an additional barrier that blocks outside sound, making your space quieter and more comfortable. Ideal for homes on busy roads or in noisy neighborhoods, it improves peace of mind without compromising the original window’s appearance or function.

A customer of ours who is also an architect, recorded the difference is sound levels using a decibel meter. The results show our system can be a very effective solution at reducing external noise. Click HERE to see the results.

Draught Proofing

Our secondary glazing eliminates draughts, which are especially common in traditional sash and case windows. These windows require small gaps at the sides to allow the sashes to slide, but those same gaps let in cold air. Our secondary glazing seals the entire window, preventing any draughts.

Reduced Heat Loss

Our secondary glazing helps reduce heat loss by adding an insulating layer that slows down the transfer of heat through your existing windows. Sash and case windows allow heat to escape easily. By trapping air between the original pane and the secondary unit, this system keeps your home warmer and more energy efficient.

Carbon Footprint

Sash and Case windows are a major source of heat loss in many homes, especially older properties. Our secondary glazing improves thermal performance. By keeping more heat inside, it reduces reliance on central heating and helps cut energy consumption – a simple, effective step toward lowering your carbon footprint.

Ventilation Control

Once our system is installed, you still have ventilation just as you did before installing our system. The photo (left) demonstrates our system open for ventilation.

Retro Fitting

Our system can be installed with only a few discreet screws into the staff bead, meaning there’s no damage or impact on your original windows and can be removed at any time. to the window frames themselves and can be removed at anytime. Because it does not alter the existing structure, no planning permission is required.
